when to replace torque rods?

Post by sixbysix »

I have a torque rod on my truck where the bushing seems to be pushing out of the torque rod "eye" both ends - these obviously need replacing. but I also have another rod that looks ok but when detached at one end I can move it around on the ball - not easily - but not too difficult either. I'm not sure how these are supposed to be - is this normal or is it likely this needs replacing too?

Do not forget to lubricate them with BRAKE FLUID.
