This one followed me home!

I have always wanted one of these and finally my wish has come true. Not perfect but very complete. Most of the goodies were included.

Needs minor hull welding, extensive sand blasting, and paint.

Restoration has started.

Hello,
Do you have the serial number and date of delivery? Looks like a very nice DUKW to restore!
Thanks,
Steve

Hello Steve,

We have talked about this DUKW in early July.

This was the DUKW Erik Conroy that was owned by Erik Conroy of Connecticut. 353-21976.

My plans are to restore this to being a floater (which is not).

Awesome!

DUKWs are such cool vehicles. I have liked them since I was a kid. My Dad used to take me to a surplus store in Detroit that had a DUKW parked out front. I was all over that thing every time we went there. :)

Good luck with your project. Please post pics when possible. Would love to watch it progress.

Best Regards.....
