CCKW BOOK MOBILE

Post by Harold Frazee »

I have a chance to buy a CCKW book mobile body. How rare is this??It is just a box type body which appears to be slightly larger then the shop van body with no window. These where used by the US Army Special Services during WWII.Does anyone have any pictures of this body on a truck??I have seen only one picture of this truck,It is on pg 104 in the GMC Universal truck book.

I don't know how many are still out there, but I would think that it a pretty rare piece. If you have the chance to get it at a good price and it's in fairly good condition, I would jump all over it.
