Looking for some background infromation on this CCKW chassis, #4707222, year built, original application. The pictured vehicle is a Class 335 Fire Truck
with fire fighting package produced in kit form, by General Detroit in 1945. The truck is pictured in service with the 24th Infantry Fire Department, Japan, 1949. Background vehicle is a Class 325 fire truck produced on the Chev 4x4 chassis with fire fighting package by an unknown builder.
