I finally got the the 4 CCKWs moved to my house today, two of them run well, the other two are parts trucks, one of the running trucks has a winch with an A frame, which works great,I used it to pull the non running trucks out of thier holes then picked up the front end so I could straighten them out for loading, one of the parts trucks wouldn't roll,a tree had grown up around the Ujoint where the rear drive line crosses the front diff,so I had to pull the rear drive line. I even was able to load a Kristi snow cat onto the bed of one truck. I only had to move them about 15 miles,I was going to drive the two runners but a local towing outfit only charged me $100 to move all four truck,we were able to get two trucks on each load. The winch truck generator still charges, not bad for a 65 year old truck that has been sitting for at least 20 years. I have lots of great picture but still can't figure out how to post them, but I'll keep trying.

Bob....The place where you got them looks like my kind of "toy store"

I haven't had much time to do any thing with the CCKWs,two of them have been broken down for parts, the frames had been badly butchered and the engines had been scavaged for parts, the one in the picture with the A frame is going to England eventually,it's a 40 CCKWX,a little rough but with alot of really good parts,I've been working hard to get my 43 White M-2 halftrack ready for our local 4th of July parade, the CCKWX has been a great help, lifting armor and other heavy stuff,it always starts and always does what I ask,a great vehicle built to last.. I'm trying to figure out how to keep the tree and drive line in one piece,it would make a great wall hanger.
