At least no real trucks were harmed in the making of this movie....

Time frame is around the "Roswell" incident of 1947.

AD,

I am an Indy fan too...It has been 25+ years since the first. My kids love'em too. All the action! The great sound score! A flick with real staying power.

Love the image after he gets tossed out of the trunk and you see the shadow in the door of the staff car as he puts on his 'signature' hat.

And all the great lines in this one.

"This ain't gonna be easy..... Not as easy as it use to be!"

"You're a Teacher? ........ Part Time!"

"Damn I thought that was closer!"

I feel that way every day.

It is right on target for the original fans with suff that the 50 plus of us, who thought of ourselves as potential Indys and now who can't remember where we put our glasses we get out of bed in the morning, can relate too.

It will be better now at the theater with Stadium Seating and THX sound. :D and the fat free popcorn

Bill

PS Love the fake amphib Jeep with the 30/50 on the bow and Indy driving while shooting a Bazooka!

I can't wait to see this movie. Some of the scenes were shot out at Eagle Field which is a local WWII air field. I was out there about a week or two after they were done shooting and they left all kinds of wooden crates that were used as props.
