Strange little thing I found on my truck

On cargo bed side, near stake pocket, is this little sticker/transfer. It says: Association of Machinists. Pictured is a cast flywheel, with remains of some other words. Something like "Hand made", could be anything, really. Could this be some kind of Union greeting to the Army personnel? An ancient puzzle.
