CCKW Books

Post by Bill_Wolf »

I received the following information from the owner of Poppy Books http://www.poppybooks.nl/ in the Netherlands. It is about 2 CCKW Tankograd publications. One I own and it appears that there is a new release for CCKW fans ( #6019) of a book about the Tippers and others entitled Dump Trucks, Gun Trucks, and Bomb Service Trucks. I have seen samples of what it contains and as expected it does not disappoint. 48 or so pages of information with many pictures and illustrations. The only problem is that it is a June 2010 release and I can not find it in the states yet. The US importer Squadron does not show it on their website that I can see.

Nice skid on the Quad 50. Boy I would love a set of those ramps. Anybody have any in the states they want to sell?

I'm Topeka bound and I'll ask David Doyle at the MVPA Convention on Wed. evening. He has a Squadron connection.

If I get two copies, How much would ya gimme for one?

Seems the ramps may be easier to find than the book right now.

I'll keep looking - for both.
