Thanks to welcome me on this forum.
I am Benef, 58 year old, married and dad of 3 children who now live their life.
As lot of teenagers, I used to build plastic kits, of different kinds. But with the time, I wanted to specialise my hobby, and choose a theme.
That was WW II
Plastic kits had to look real and precise. I had to find documents.
Learning more and more in books and magazines, I decided to leave kits behind me.
For a long time now, I read anything about WW II, especially about Atlantic Wall, forces on ground and in the air in Europe.
Some weeks ago, I wanted to know more about vehicles.
On this forum, I will get more information than give.
And for this reason, I thank you all for those you can offer me.

I purchased my first (and only) CCKW when I was 55.

My 3 kids are all grown up, too. When my oldest saw my CCKW for the first time, she told my wife: "That's the strangest mid-life crisis that I have ever seem".
