42 closed cab with a 43 bed in Indiana

Post by rgus »

I took this truck in on a partial trade and I thought I would like to restore it. I now have decided that with just me working, I had better stick with the smaller more managable stuff. It runs good, drives good, and more importantlly stops good. This truck had a different bed other than the carge bed it now has. The fuel tank it has is origional and it must have had a shop van body when it came from the factory. This was a fire department truck and spend it's later life setting inside. It has no rust or rot and a ton of paint on it. The wood floor in the bed is weather checked but in good shape. The tail gate was cut for some reason and I have a repo VoV tailgate in the bed that goes with it. The windshield is good but the seal is shot. New one included. There are several other parts that go with the truck. I will sale it only to someone that will restore it , not part it out. I want 3650.00 for it. go to...http://cckw.mypicgallery.com/ It is titled and would make a great restoration project. I hate to sell it but the boss says she doesn't want me messing with something that big and heavy by myself. She is afraid of it and I have to respect her wishes, more importantlly keep her happy.
