There were 3 Part Numbers
GM-2116991 for CCKWX andCCKWs prior to Chassis # 41189
GM-2158222 for CCK and CCKW after Chassis #41189, Supreseded by Guard GM#36654093 CCW and CCKW Chassis 41189 and after.
I just got a NOS Beauty GM#3665409 off eBay for $42.00 + $12.00 Priority Mail.

Hi Joel,
What's the difference between the guards?
Thanks,
Matt.

Good Question, It may have something to do with sealing the rear window. I just know that some who watch will be able to elaborate. Problem is most Guards are sold without the GM ID Tags. Mine has the parts control tag with numbers on it.

It would be interesting to find out, I have noticed a number of differences in cab part numbers between the CCKWX parts book and TM 10-1562,with some the reason is obvious but others it's not so clear.

Gotta be the hole pattern. When buying one ask for the hole pattern, and match it to your cab. Mine new guard is a beauty. Now to find a truck to go with it. Contrary to what has been said, this stuff is priceless.

I agree that NOS parts are finite and will not be around forever. I am slowly collecting the parts I need to get my compressor truck as close to correct as possible,in fact I'm pretty near to having all I need,I still need a pair of NOS headlamps, ground straps and some LeRoi specific parts.
Then there's the cargo truck......

Does anyone have a picture of one mounted on a early cab with a rubber window seal? My truck has a early Chevy cab so I need that style mount. Thanks Tim

The CCKW I just bought this weekend appears to have its original rear window guard... I'll get a picture this coming weekend. I'm guessing that these probably frequently disappeared once sold to the civilian market.... but this one is still there surprising.
