I have a tranny that is stuck in neutral, it is not bad rusted, just sat a few years before It was given to me. I can't get it in gear. pulled the tower, not bad rust just enough.
Any ideas?

With the top off, use penetrating oil or Marvel Mystery Oil and try to get it into the areas where the gears have to slide. Do this for a few days then try to move the gears (that slide) back and forth. If it is not too bad, it will eventually free up completely. You hawever probably have lost the bearings....
