Serial Number location on the frame.

Hi, I bought a 1944 CCKW 353 Cargo with winch truck. I need to locate the serial number that is stamped onto the frame. I had one along time ago and had located the serial number on that truck but it has been awhile and I now do not recall the location. I believe it was on the side of the front frame rail section. Any help on where I need to look. I hope that it is not located under the winch framing that is rivited to the frame. thanks Dan

Hi, I was able to locate the serial number which I found on the right front frame rail outer side behind the left front wheel.
