I'm going to dig thru my old footlocker and look for my old grenade safety pins and safety clips from my bazooka training. An empty Garand clip would not be unusual.

my cckw sat in a wood barn for nearly 30 years, thank god the floors were wood too. But in the glove box was a "8 pager",,,if you don't know what those were,, ask someone from the 40s, or 50s,, nice smell of very old paper too.
