Buffalo water trailer

A friend of mine is looking for any information about the 250 gals water trailer (Buffalo).

Tech infos and pictures welcome!

Anything you can say about this trailer welcome too.

I have two, one alu and one steel. The steel ones tend to rot out, and if like mine go thru between the top and bottom of the frame where it is unrepairable. The welded the steel tanks onto the frame. The Alu ones are bolted, but did not have any insulating material between the alu and steel. Can you spell GALVANIC ACTION!. Mine now has a layer of tar paper between them. If you wanted to spend some $$, you could probably use gas tank sealer (lots of it) on the inside of the tank. The steel one has a baffle in it too.

Looks nice behind a deuce. Impossible to back up unless you can see it thru the rear window....

If anyone comes across one in the eastern US, I am looking for one of those fuel tankers to tow behind my CCKW F1 aircraft refuelling tanker.

I have 1/2 of one.....An excellent condition Tank with the guts. No pump motor, no trailer...just the tank which is mounted on a pretty beat up spend water buffalo trailer frame.

Doc...is this the one you are going to paint yellow?
