I started to build what is called a Paulin support or what I call the wood rack for my Ben Hur trailer.
Bought some dry Ash at hardwood provider not far from me. Purchased 3/4 inch thich and 2 inch thick. The 3/4 became the sides and the 2" became the supports.
Used a table saw to cut the boards to correct width and my chop saw to correct lenght.
Treated the wood with a 50/50 mixture of Mineral Spirits and Turpentine, as recommended by Joel.
Assembled the boards in place. I still have to install the rest of the hardware.
But this is proof that if I can do it anyone can....
Complete plans are posted to the site

What a great start Bill! Watch it, or you might even motivate me to get back to work on my trailer!
It was good metting you on Friday at Aberdeen. I'm wearing my cckw.org shirt with pride today.
