Composite Ben Hurs
Composite Ben Hurs
I have a question regarding a Ben Hur I purchased in the Netherlands it has wooden sides and tailgate , three brackets style, but has a steel floor , which looks original . Not a repair or modification it also has two wire rope or steel cables , that are attached to the frame and pass underneath the axle on each side , Does anyone know what these trailers might have been used for ....Generators or other special equipment ? I ll post the data plate info soon and close up photo's [img] http://www.flickr.com/photos/35783949@N00/649526334/ [img]

That would have to be a scarce trailer. I will look forward to the photos. Great find. Thanks.
