Hi John

No I dont know how it exacly can happen, because it is an original
set up. I could replace it for a wider jeep manifold and carburator, but
it runs good. So I leave it this way.

I might only replace the governor ,because it drops in voltage, but I dont think this affects on the equipment that Iam planning to use. (lightning, drillingmachine, grinder, etc,)

The engine does also have its original oil and temp protection, with modern relais. Its shuts down under 10lbs and over 190degr fahrenheit.
