Took a little liberty with the site since I know the owner..

My recently restored 1943 Case VAI air corps mower. Used to mow airfields both in theater and in the states.

Now all I need is a Case-Detroit 14 Sickle unit. If anyone knows where one can be had please let me know.

Bill

Good looking Case and I'm not usually a Case fan.

Bill,

That's just great. My late father was a Case collector and a 40 year Army vetereran. He would have loved to see your tractor.

Is the difference between a VAC and a VAI, the industrial wide front end?

And we are glad to see you were able to replace the Chevy Vega steering wheel that it had when you got it home with the correct one.

I'll keep looking for a mower for you.

Great job. I love that odd ball engineer equipment!
