LeRoi differences

Post by dr deuce »

Has anyone ever seen a CCKW Compressor truck with the gauges shown in the 1st URL other than that particular truck?

http://tanxheaven.com/ljs/gmccckwcomplj ... ,Ursel.JPG

This next URL shows the gauges that I have seen all all the LeRoi's I have seen including my 2

http://tanxheaven.com/ljs/gmccckwcomplj ... or,Son.JPG

Can I assume that the 1st pix gauges are a French/European change?

Thanks

Most of the LeRoi's over here have the gauges the same as the first picture.

It is a
Compressor Air
Gasoline-driven 210 CFM
LEROI model 210-G2
D-471 engine

TM-5-5061

The air filters are European

The other pic (like yours) is a 105 CFM compressor I think

I'm not sure if the 210 CFM was original mounted on a GMC in WW2
