The plugs, AC44 or J10 if I remember correctly are no longer available in a non-resistor form.
According to my local parts store, the NGK B6S is a direct non-resistor cross.
Anyone ever use them?

Hi Doc, I use the NGK B6s all the time in both my CCKW's without a problem.
Would like to be able to put US made plugs in but I can't get hold of any so the Japs have won this one.
regards
Steve

AC- 44 Delco plugs are no longer being manufactured , but that does not mean they are no longer available. They can be bought very easy on Ebay and for a reasonably good price. I have 6 box's of 8 nos AC 44 non resistor plugs that I have bought on ebay over the last few years for very reasonable prices enough for 8 engine changes ( that should last me for the rest of my life) They will not be as cheap as what you can buy at local parts stores because of the shipping involved , and they probably won't make your truck run any better but they are out there. Where there is a will there is a way, this is not to say using anything else is wrong it is NOT just a personal choice I like to keep my truck as close to original as possible by choice, just a thought for anyone looking and happy trucking

Thats a good find. But for a 12 volt me with with non original electronic ignition, I'll stay with the NGKs.

Hi guys the only place i could find plugs for my cckw was my local lawn mower agent as they use the same type of spark plug.... i brought the six new ones and they worked fine .... don't know what make they had no markings.....
On my recent trip to France i managed to find NoS AC's so they are still around...Rex Ward in the uk has plugs but not to sure what make????
