Every so often I come up against need to repaint some small element, or some scratch. I use old type army tank paint from Warsaw Pact era. The nice thing about this paint is that new layer blends with old spotlessly, so doing some minor spot resprays is child easy. But getting out airspray gun and especially cleaning it after with solvent is a pain in the bottom.
Finding can spray is out of the question because paint is only available from one manufacturer in commercial quantities. Trying to match already available canspray is waste of time since they will never fully match in colour. Using paintbrush is also out since it doesn’t give same finish.
So, my question is have you got idea how to prepare home made paint spray which could be left on the shelf for long time while easily available when needed.
