Jack, under your feet! throw the round hole in the floor board drivers side is were you can check in fiuld. have fun with your jimmy it really looks good.

Hi Jack,

You really should get the maintence manual and parts book,I bought the truck and didn't get the correct manuals for over a year! getting the manuals was like "seeing the light"!!

Rob at Groucho publishing in Holland,do a google search and he'll have them as reprints or on ebay you'll find originals.

You really have to have the manuals with these things,I got mine off ebay,if you watch you can get originals for the same or less than reprints. When you get your manual prepare to do nothing for a week,because you won't want to put it down,it's incredible how much info you will find,then you want to start getting other versions because the info changes year to year. Have fun.

There as a lot to learn of small details that never got entered into the TMs also. There were changes to most TMs, they were printed as inserts, but they most usually never caught up with manuals in the field. They were of little use to the drivers anyways, most had to do with maintenance updates for the 2nd echelon mechanic, bolt torques, Valve adjustments, light switches, etc.
