best electric wiper motors

what kind of electric wiper motors should a person use on a closed cab trcuk? i am going 12volts

Thats a tough one. Way beyond my expertise as I have always used the old vacume wipers

I believe that Chevy's of the 40's has them and probably Jim Carter too. One thing you have to do with electrics is to buy the special flat cover to go over the hole.

I bought a couple of those motors for my WC-54 to replace a damaged one (they came in a kit of 2). Did a google and found them on a Jeep site (Not WWII Jeep site). The kit was cheap $39.95 for 2 with wiring last year.

Keep Googling you may find the same for less.

Note that you may have to drill an additional hole in the roof need to the spindle to fit the locating hole for the motor....,

Chebys of the 40's as I recall also has a remote motor version so that you can get the motor noise far away.
