I have intergrated stop and directional lights using 2 of the original drivers side rear lights on mine. In the front, I have standard 3.5"? directional lights mounted under the fenders back by the rearmost headlight bucket mounting screw on brackets that attach to that screw.
I have a mechanical stop light switch and an identical switch used with the starter linkage over on the other side to give ignition resistor bypass (hotter spark) when starting. (12v system)
Send me your email and I will send you a schematic of the wiring system I use.

Wiring Harness
I have a VWOM harness for my 353 with directionals wired into it. I am just starting to install it. Sorry no review other then is looks well done and I highly recommend Joe (I have used one of his wc51 wiring harnesses and have had no issues at all).

For Rear lights I use two left side WWII taillights. I have purchased the add on directional kit that is readily available through parts stores. Sand blasted the chrome plated plastic stalk switch and painted it OD
For front directionals I used a Motorcycle front directional lite. They are shaped almost exactly like the front BO reference lights. They even have the little teardrop style mount like on the BO lights. They are 12V but will accept a 6 volt bulb.
I sandblasted them and painted them OD. They are mounted on a custom bent bracket under the fender and the bracket is attached to one of the brush guard to fender bolts.
They are very discreet and do not take away from the original appearance of the truck in WWII configuration. But when needed they have no problem being seen.
Here are some pics

I believe they were about $15 each. I bought them through my ATV/Snowmobile business. If more info is needed let me know.
