Fuel inlet cast iron carb.

Anyone have the size of the hole for the fuel inlet on the cast iron carb? I bought a 5/8ths in one but its a poor fit.

Is it FIP or some other type of thread?

The correct answer is 5/8-18.

The TM lists a fitting, but its 1/2-20 wrong pitch and way to small.

Yet the carb is the correct late cast iron type :?:
