PAINT

I've spent the last 8 months or so rebuilding my cckw 353, painting every piece, the problem I've had is waiting for the paint to dry sometimes as much as 3 days in the cold weather . So I started looking on the net for a paint quick drying additive and found "Terebine". If you add a small amount to the (synthetic) paint it speeds up the drying time and makes the paint go harder.

Thanks for that info Chappers. Here in South Texas our natural quick drying comes from the 100 degree plus temps and sun during the day. But I do understand what you mean, as I have painted parts during the winter and it would take a long time for the paint to dry.

Hi John ,
No is the answer , if you look at the 352 restoration topic you will see the Wings which were painted using the Quick driers is the same colour as the hood which I didn't use the driers.

If you have a specific colour I'd test a small piece first just to make sure, but I think it would work fine.
