Hello Lugnut,

Your temperature sounds a bit high :!: On my truck the Temp gauge indicates between 80 and 90°C in normal conditions. If the climate is very hot, the truck is loaded and if I drive it with low speed, temp can increase until 95-105°C

Hope it helps, Thierry.

100C is the boiling point of water. While driving, my temp meter usually is around 90C. If it goes any higher than that, on hot days, I slow down to get it back to 90.

That is running a little hot. Check your radiator cap first and see if it is holding the pressure, then you might need to have the radiatior cleaned . I take an airgun to my radiator every once in a while and blow out the dust and dead bugs. Good luck.

my guages talk to me in french! it's one thing learning to drive these trucks and another doing so while trying to figure exactly what my guages are telling me.

I am getting readings on the road of

Temp 90-92 C :?:
Oil pressure 3 :?:
amp guage shows charged or slightly into charging :D
fuel guage low ( been driving it)
speedo bounces around 40-50 km/hr in 4th

will be changing these out sometime when I find good guages

If it helps anyone, the conversion formula from Farenheit - Centigrade is :-

( Degrees F - 32) x 0.55 = Degrees C

e.g. (212`F - 32) = 180, x 0.55 = 99` C
