Somebody with a good one send a picture and dimensions of one.
You never know what one might come across.

I seem to recall that the 'original' one had a small hole drilled in it so thatit would have no presssure.

On mine radiator cap the locking fingers rotted off also.
There is no hole in it .
Instead there is a brass plate on it with text.
CAUTION 8 LBS PRESSURE OPEN WHEN COOL.
How can i use this ?

I do not know what pressure, if any this 'stock' cap will produce. I will test it out shortly and find out.
The unit cost me something like $3.50 so if it works, I could mail you one.

I just changed the oil in Mr LeRoi and after buying an 'oil filter' that supposedly fit the can, I found out that it was not even close.
I have retrofitted the can with a larger one from a CCKW engine by using both the can and brackets. It works fine, bolts right on and is actually bigger than the original LeRoi filter. The only other thing I had to do was to swap the brass fitting on the bottom of the cans. The line on Mr LeRoi is smaller than the CCKW.

Can someone explain how the LeRoi exhaust stack works?
Is it moveable and lifted by the exhaust when running?
OR
Is it fixed and just makes the exhaust do an "S" sot of maneuver to get out?
I need to fabricate one for my LeRoi. It just has a flapper right now (that blew off today)
Thanks

Mine is fixed
TM5-5061 say,
It consists of a muffler body and silencer through which the exhaust gases must pass.
As the gas stream is broken up and its volume is increased thus reducing the gas pressure.
This reduced pressure results in diminishing the noise made as the exhaust gases issue to the atmosphere.
On the events pictures you can see the exhaust .
Tomorrow i take a closer look to the exhaust on my Leroi.

Did anyone ever find some radiator caps? Now I need one, or maybe two, but I think I'd already be pushing my luck at one...
