Hi all does anyone know where i can purchase similar sheathing for rewiring my cckw.???? would like to use something similar to original but if not any type of rubber would have to do

I got some of this stuff to use when making up the new wiring loom on my Chevy. Its made of polyester, but it gives the loom that braided cover look.
You can get it from here
http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/ Along with everything else you could possibly need to re-wire a truck with.
And for that ultra original look they also do braided cable.

Vintage Wireing of Maine is the best
Correct color braid with correct color tracer
Correct ends
And Joe has several braiding machines so the loom braiding is also correct as well.

I have purchase loom through these folks to do my trailers and fire truck. They make many different sizes and sell it in bulk.
