No Pic but...
I can give you a brief description of the spotting features.
Type 1 Dual diaphram with triangular plates on each end w/rods ( to hold assembly together)
Type 2 Dual diaphram with cast type " J " hooks instead of triangular plates ( same purpose as above )
Type 3 Single diaphram with J hooks/rods
The type 3 are avail new thru many parts outlets ( at least stateside )

Hope this helps
John

The "typeIII" on my second picture is made in France and is typical on many trucks that have been rebuild here in France. Mine is marked EB6 BENDIX E2 9/16 one one side and BENDIX MADE IN FRANCE on the other side, but I found no part or serial number :!: :?: :!: :?: :!:

but are there differences between an original american typeIII hydrovac and the french type III hydrovac. because I've been told that you can't find parts anymore for the "french"hydrovac.

I believe the parts should be the same but I'm not sure...Parts are hard to find for all type of hydrovac...

I'm missing cups for all types of hydrovacs so if anybody know of a source I would appreciate...

If by "cups" you mean the rubber piston seals, thay are I believe 3/4" and available. I bought mine from Rex Ward:

but they were French origin.
