9.00 x 20 tires on a CCKW

I am running surplus 9.00 x 20 tires on a CCKW I am restoring because they are so much cheaper, but they are too wide and run into the springs in both the front and the back. I just go it running and here is a video of the test drive:

As you can see in the video I have mounted all the tires as singles the outside duel way…so it looks really funny in the front! Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get these tires to work? Everyone I have talked to or read says you can run the 9.00 x20s on CCKWs just fine, but the sidewalls contact the springs even in the back.


Are there spacers? Can I mount these wider tires on the old wheels? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
