Fuel Pump Source/Number?

Post by jds15151 »

Just got my truck home on Tuesday. I believe the fuel pump has gone bad and needs rebuilt. Is there a source for a similar pump that I could use until my original pump is rebuilt? I've looked through just about everything and can't find anything. Maybe it's just me? Thanks in advance for the help. Jeff "Brand New" 1945 GMC CCKW 353

The fuel pump in my truck was bypassed and there is an electric pump back at the fuel tank. That may be a temporary (and a backup) option.

Jeff
Frank von Roesonstiel has both the 2 valve and 6 valve rebuild kits
Get a couple for a spare
They are not difficult to redo
I don't know of an avail replacement from NAPA

Hope this helps
