Carb Flooding

Post by MotorpoolMac »

Has anyone experienced the carb flooding when you turn off the engine? If I turn it off and the try to start it within a half hour or so it is flooded and takes a lot of cranking. Any ideas? Thanks!

it should not flood unless your flout is sticking open as if you still have standerd fuel pump it stops when engine stops if you have converted to electric pump and flote stuck it will just keep pumping fuel as if it was empty i would take top off and check 4 any dirt when i cleaned mine out as well as filter be4 pump there must have been half of normandby in there so i just rebult and cleaned runs just fine now good luck

The cast iron naturally is made of cast iron.

The others (eariler ones) were made of white metal and look a little like aluminum.
