Distributor Question

Post by Warren Duchesne »

Is there any seal ,O ring etc that goes on the distributor before you install it in the engine block . It seems a loose enough fit that oil might come up around it . I do not see anything in any of the manuals . Thanks Warren Duchesne

Make absolutely sure before you install or remove a dist that there is no power to it. It could create a little spark and with gasoline fumes in the crankcase.....
