Do not use an extension on wheel wrench handle?
Why the TM10-1563 says this in the page 13-6 ?

this because they didnt want soldiers over tightening the lug nuts when reinstalling tires. If you are strong enough to man handle the wheels and tires and get them on the truck by hand, then tighten the lugs with just the lug wrench (without an extension) almost as tight as you can get them, and that is about right. and like they say, check them frequently. I use a cheater pipe (extension) all the time for REMOVING lug nuts.

I just grab what is handy ... i think the one i have been using is about 4 feet long.
