Post by JeepGeek »

Can anyone tell me which manual the cowl vent mechanism for the 353 closed cab is described/detailed in?

Thanks

It is not really descrobed in detail in any of them because it is so simple.

Do you have a specific question?

They are also basically the same as their civilian conterpart...try Jim Carter Truck parts he used to have a blow-up photo in one of his catalogs...or maybe it was Chevys of the 40's

Hope this helps

Wow, thanks John - lots of info on Jim's site.

Doc - the cowl vent lever doesn't open my cowl vent and it looks like part of the mechanism has become detached from the underside of the dash. I was hoping a diagram may be available which will help me understand what I need to do in order to fix it.
