Long term gun mount observations

I decided yesterday to try and make the M32 gunmount on my CCKW closed cab work better/move It has always worked easy-hard-easy as it went around. I assumed that the ring was sprung a bit and not quite round. I got up there yesterday and discovered a few things:
1. From shaking for 20 years up there, the IRAC aluminum .50 cal gun is getting slightly larger egg-shaped mounting holes
2. from sitting in one place for a long time, the ring was slightly mushroomed on top from the constant pounding driving
3. One of the horizontal locking wheels on the inside, its ramp was worn down such that the wheel dragged on the housing
It is needed for Memorial Day, so I oiled everything up and put it back in place. I will compare it to the new trolley I have on another day
