SAFETY TIP PROPELLER SHAFTS

It is always a good time to check that the bolts on the flanges are tight, as well as all those U bolts on the journals.
When removing a Propeller shaft, you should jack up one of the wheels that go to the axle that is driven by that shaft. Axle wind up may injure you, and jacking up one wheel will relieve it. I have seen a wrench thrown over 100' by the release of torsion on a propeller shaft.

Thanks for the safety tip joel. Keep up the good work, I've been working on mine for over 3 year and love the extra things you teach us.

Thanks,
I try to keep it in line with what the Army preaches.

Same rule applies to removing rear axles or from drive flanges
