hauling a CCKW?

I'm thinking about buying a CCKW, but it hasn't run in 10 years, and the oener said the last time he drove it, the brakes were completely out. So if I do end up buying it, it will have to be trailered from it's current location to my property. Trouble is I don't have access to a trailer rated high enough to haul this thing. How do you guys move your trucks if they can't roll under their own power?

thanks, Nick

Hi Nick

This may not be the cheapest alternative but......
You can always rely on the local tow company for help.
It will fit on the LARGER roll backs, and remember IF they tow it with axles on the ground the drive shafts will have to be removed .

Hope this helps

If the axles are on the ground, besides removing the driveshafts, make sure that the diffs are full of GO and check them for leaks a couple times during the trip.
