That in March 1943 that the M-6 Bomb Service Truck (Basic Vehicle w/o the other stuff) was on the U.S. Army books for $1800.00? Add five bucks for waterbucket if you just have to have one. Probably $25-35 Grand by now if it were possible. I got this out of SNL G-85, Vol 4.

You and I both know that $1800.00 was a lot of money in 1943. You could go to the movie for five cents and see two westerns, the news, cartoons, and the serial movie. Soda's were a nickle, as were candy and popcorn. I cringe at the $30.00 it takes to see a movie full of cursing, and get a bucket of popcorn and two sodas.
Time is fleeting and really streaking by us old timers. :D

You didn't need a water bucket back then,there were no military vehicle shows.
