Wheres My Chassis Number Gone??

Post by ash 0-00 »

I have looked for it in the usual place, passenger side near the shock absorber. It doesn't have a winch so it isn't hiding under the bracket and I've taken off several layers of paint to bare metal.......there isn't any sign of any of the letters or numbers!

Any ideas?

Thanks, Ash :?:

Hi Ash
It should be to the right of the shock arm and between the spring shackle , it could be any where from the bottom, middle or top of the frame side, and filled in with paint. I had to use a fine pick to dig out the paint from mine  GOOD LUCK :!:

Bill Wolf's 352 had the sn lower than I have ever seen it almost going around the bend on the lower edge of the frame rail.
