Hi guy's ,I've just brought another CCKW 353 and was wondering if anyone wood be as kind as the help with the year. The vehicles chassis number is CCKW 353 467845 A1

Hi Steve
Your truck is February 1945 466475 thru 490440 most likely built within the first week of Feb, 1370th truck from the start of production for that month. The A 1 means non winch with timken split axles :!:

Thanks for the info Guy's

Here is a picture of "Basil" the name given to it buy the previous owner.

The paint needs a complete overhaul as It's been painted several times and you can tell :shock: apart from that it drives very nice, came with a spare engine in a crate ,Snow chains, Norwegian plastic type canvas, Large Camo net, Wooden steering wheel, 10 nearly new tyre's, A Jack and wheel nut wrench,and a tool pouch with a few original bits in
