interesting bumper markings
While thumbing through some book this afternoon I came across this picture,sorry the quality is so poor,it's tuff to get a good picture of a picture.What do the airplane looking symbols mean on the drivers side of the front bumper?

I am stumped on that one, but then there were field markings added to the standard regulation type markings. I hope someone comes up with an answer on this.

BUmper markings??
I don't know for certain, but if you look closely at the picture, and the vehicles, it would appear that they are an anti-aircraft unit. It appears that in addition to the ring mounted 50's, they also have some type of weapon in the bed of the truck and are towing what appears to be an anti-aircraft gun as well... maybe even an M1 40mm like this:
