Other than the Firetruck, when were they standard on CCKW?
They do not show up in the SNLs.

Don't know, but then there are always field modifications that might have taken place, for what ever reason.

I have a sirene on my truck, not that it ever had one in it's former military life, but because it draws attention to my truck from the ladies when in a parade.

Is there actual proof of Sirens on active WWII CCKW Cargo, trucks, or any other CCKWs beside the Fire Truck?
History has a way of getting stretched by imagination.

Possibly the U.S Constabulary would have authorized them on some of their vehicles.

You are right there, so I normally have her a seat in the reveiwing stands, then I blow the sirene at her. Saves my rear end every time.

If you look closely, you can see a panel on the front fender with the letters

RY
CE

Certainly

MILITARY
POLICE

Holmes you've done it again! interesting that the registration number has the W prefix and S suffix,an early truck later fitted with suppression perhaps??
