CCKW center mirror?
There is a rear view mirror that attached to the windshield. Any idea what they looked like and were they can be found?
BTW my CCKW has both pass and driver side mirrors.

I wonder myself. I have the hole in the center of the top of the windshield on my open cab truck, however there is no window in the canvas back of the top, so not much to see through that mirror.

Something ugly must have looked at that mirror. The best replacements were used on the M-Series trucks of the 50s early 60s, and had OD painted metal backing, there are surplus ones out there now, but are cheap looking plastic backed, but are sufficient. It is easy to discuss the mirror, but harder to find in GM wrapper, but there are more important things to do. Have you all crawled under your beasts to do PM this year?

That is one ugly looking mirror, but at least it is original. Again, with the solid canvas back up, nothing to see but the canvas. Maybe if you had a really good looking passenger, then the mirror could be adjusted

Any chance of getting that mirror off?
Take it to your local high school vo-tech and see if they have a drafting/AutoCad course.
They will probibly take it for extra credit or even as a class project.
Then you can post the drawings or have some parts made. Mirrors have to be cheap to make and no one seems to have them.

Sounds great to me. The more we can get re-produced for these old trucks the better off we are. I had to go to Sweden for body parts when I started restoration on my 43 truck 7 years ago. I luckly found a guy with a parts truck that was willing to sell me what I needed.
