According to SM5-5-2300, certain CCKW Trucks were current logistical responsibility of the Corps of engineers.

TRUCK, LAYOUT, MAP REPRODUCTION

The Publication confirms the sightings of these trucks at National Guard units in Maine, and Massachusetts up to 1959-60, and at Ft Monmouth and Ft Dix NJ in 1961.
Dow Air Force Maine had a CCKW Radio Van at its MARS Facility in daily use until 1961

The above SM is dated 9 August 1957, it supersedes SM 5-5-2300 Dated 12 September 1956.

CCW, I may have one somewhere. It had a bucket on back of a large teardrop shaped body. I witnessed some in use at military bases in 1960.

David Doyle had a picture of one in one of his Military Magazine articles about the CCKW.

I will see if I can did it up.

I have pics somewhere, but there is a drawing or airbrushed picture of one in the SM-5. I have a scanner that we are installing in aday or two and can send it. The army screwed up as the unit was not a good match for the CCW as it took too much out of the truck, as the engine had to race each time the unit packed the trash, and the stop and go took a toll on the truck.
