CCKW north of DFW on 287

Post by bobc »

Last week when I was coming down to Texas to take my Dad back to nothern Arizona i noticed an open cab CCKW sitting along the frontage road along hightway 287 just north of the fruitland exit,it's an open cab and still has the top bow,I couldn't stop to check it out but I would love too on the way home next week, but I would like to know if anyone has talked to the owner, being so visable I worry that the guy thinks it's made of gold,or it wouldn't still be there, but then again I've thought that in the past to find out later the didn't want it but everyone though like I did so no one stops, there is no bed as usual, but i really want a top bow and it's still there.I'm heading home monday so if anyone has any info on it please let me know if it's worth the time to stop. Thanks alot Bobc

Bob Check with Bob Mueller at Vehicles of Victory. He had some open cab top bows. Are you going to get to San Antonio? Let me know and we will visit.
