Nothing I have ever seen listed or shown in the books I have on CCKW's. It obviouosly utilized a canvas cover but I am not quite sure what it is for. Looks like a post war modification for a specific need at that time.

It's obviously not a M27 bomb truck. It's not the same structure.

The owner of the truck, who knows nothing about CCKW's, says it a CCKW 503. He says that the hoist is travelling on the rail but can't get out of the tray, cause it's welded under the rail. It seems to be a french army or a civilian transformation.
