Top bows
I have a car show coming up and was going to put on the cargo cover, I need to know the measurement of the top bow side boards, the wood part that gose in the metal side rack stake and up to the corner assy. or the measurement between the top of the stake side to the bottom of the top bow corner. Also were the top bows (wood part ) painted? Thanks

If you are not sure, I can help. I used the metal stakes , and they position the Bow Corners to spec. Less hernias using the metal stake adaptors. Both wood and metal were available in WWII. Top brush on a 50/50 mixture of turpentine and raw linseed oil before you paint stakes. It helps to prevent wood from swelling due to moisture.
